Athletics Carnival

On October 31st Eastmeadows Girls planned to have their Athletics Carnival at Meadowglen. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side and we had to cancel our plans. But this did not stop us! Instead we conducted an Activity Day, full of fun and engaging House competitions held in the school gym. Tug of war, egg and spoon, three-legged race, tunnel ball, various relays and a ‘Just Dance’ dance off, were just a few of the competitions held throughout the day. A points tally was kept and added for each event to determine the winning house. The competition was tough and fought with great House pride.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers that kept the girls’ spirits high throughout the day and helped plan the events on such short notice. The day wouldn’t have run as smoothly without your efforts.

To the girls who participated with such great enthusiasm to make an otherwise bleak day shine, I’d like to thank you for your awesome contribution to our unscheduled Activity Day.

Most importantly, the winning House for 2018 is…………… BLUE HOUSE.
